While with Sasaki Associates, Chris Sgarzi completed a comprehensive athletic and recreation master plan for indoor sports facilities on the York College of Pennsylvania campus. The information-gathering process involved campus-wide interviews, surveys and public forums.

The recommended solutions became the genesis for the new 160,000 sf Grumbacher Sport & Fitness Center which includes a full natatorium, 1700 seat gymnasium, weight training and fitness center, elevated jogging track, climbing wall, sport medicine and athletic offices and multi-purpose dance studios. The facility opened summer 2006.
