Assumption College chose Sgarzi Associates to implement its vision for the renovation of Laska Gymnasium, developed during the master plan process. Laska is the home of the school's Division II basketball and volleyball programs.

The facility has always had a terrific game atmosphere, and Sgarzi Associates worked to maintain that while thoroughly modernizing the building. Improvements include: new retractable bleachers with wheelchair seating; top-of-the-line maple flooring; new equipment including backboards and supports, batting cage, volleyball anchoring system and 24-seat scorers table; new scoreboards and sound system; new lighting, color scheme, banners and logo design; and numerous lobby improvements.
