Loyola College in Maryland hired Sgarzi Associates to study the entrances to two high rise residence halls that did not provide adequate control or security.

Working closely with the Student Life staff and Resident Advisors, we developed a desk prototype and entrance sequence that could be adaptable to various residence halls on campus. The new design included attractive custom desks, lighting, storage and accommodations for card access, and the reduced the number of alternative entrances into the buildings. It has been implemented at both Campion Hall and Newman Hall.
