BRIDGEWATER STATE COLLEGE | Bridgewater, MA

Bridgewater State College (BSC) hired Sgarzi Associates to assist with the development of a vision for a new facility or facilities on campus to house the college's academic arts programs. Development of the concept study included research and information gathering on campus as well as comparative analysis of similar facilities on other campuses.

Through this work, according to the Dean, "A consensus emerged for a Center for the Arts that would become a comprehensive and innovative institution for the study, promotion and cultivation of the arts (theatre, visual art, creative writing, music, dance and their interconnections), and that should be committed to excellence in arts education, exploration, and performance in the state, region, and nation."
